MEMBERS OF MUSKEGON COUNTY FARM BUREAU RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS

Muskegon County Farm Bureau recently honored four local students for their academic excellence, leadership skills and contributions to their schools and community.

Receiving awards of $1000.00 each for the 2010-11 school year are, Nicole Haase, Chelsey Bonthuis, Landen Vandever, & Shelby Navarre.

Nicole Haase is the daughter of Douglas & Kathleen Haase of Fruitport, and 2010 graduate of Fruitport High School. Nicole has chosen to pursue a degree in Special Education while attending Western Michigan University.

Chelsey Bonthuis, a 2010 graduate of Ravenna High School will be attending Michigan State University while pursing a degree in Product Packaging. She is the daughter of David & Kathleen Bonthuis.

Landen Vandever, of Grant is planning a degree in Music Education or Worship Arts, in fall. Landen is the son of Lance & Lorraine Vandever, and is a 2010 graduate of Grant High School.

Shelby Navarre is the daughter of Christopher & Lauraine Navarre, and is a 2010 graduate of Ravenna High School and will be pursuing a career in Criminal Justice while attending Grand Valley State University.
