Young Farmer

Host one county Young Farmer event, hold a minimum of 3 committee meetings, have 4 Young Farmer contest participants and involve at least 6 new young farmers in committee activities.

Promotion & Education

Identify 6 committee members to form a county P&E committee.

• Suggest 2 county-specific P&E events
• Find a chairperson
• Ag in the classroom
• More public agricultural education

Elected Officials

Participate in 6 elected official events.

• Newly elected county officials
• Dinner on the Farm
• Lansing Legislative
• Invite commissioners to a board meeting
• County Annual participation by county, state, and national representatives
• Every board member contact one of their elected officials directly

Member Involvement

Develop a "one new member" program to participate in the following events: Lansing Legislative, Dinner on the Farm, Miracle of Life, YF events, county annual meeting, state annual meeting, and all county committees.
